Arka Prava Basu is an experienced Android Developer with a career spanning over 5.70 years. He is currently working at Ultrahuman as an Android Developer, where he is involved in building Ultrahuman and Flex Android Apps. Arka has a strong background in Android development, having worked with major companies such as ixigo and Zomato in the past. At ixigo, Arka was part of the Android team that oversaw the Ixigo trains application, which caters to over 50 million users. He co-designed the Entertainment section in the train application and was responsible for several feature improvements and bug fixes. Arka also maintained legacy code and wrote new modules/features following MVVM architecture with an aim to improve test coverage. Kotlin was the choice of language along with android architecture components. At Zomato, Arka designed several modules from scratch, including Zomaland, Table Reservation Flow, Zomato Gold Unlock Flow, Location Search Feature for Android Consumer App, Hygiene Rating, User Account Page, and Restaurant Photo Gallery Module. He was responsible for designing client-side API contracts and end-to-end testing. Arka wrote every new feature following either MVVM or MVP architecture pattern with an aim for a more testable codebase. He is familiar with Android Architecture Patterns, Android databinding library, and Kotlin. Arka has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur.
